Populous: The Beginning – Undiscovered Worlds is an expansion pack released for Populous: The Beginning. It was only made available in the UK, and offered 12 new singleplayer and 12 multiplayer levels.

Populous: The Beginning, has a vast variety of key game features, some of which were completely unique to this new found genre of game, you are placed in charge of a tribe where you must fight your way to the ends of the universe to become a god.
The game features nicely rendered 3d worlds, which you must explore and manipulate for your cause. The 360 degree rotation puts you in ultimate charge of the camera angle, while you fight your way across the 25 levels (planets) which you must conquer to become a god.
Extensive 3-D accelerator support enables the player to view the game in a fully rendered, 16bit default or 32bit environment.
The game is multiplayer compatible, either by head-to-head direct modem connection, LAN, IPX, or most commonly using the Populous Reincarnated matchmaker. And alternative is the Populous Resurrection Client, which can be found at Populous Resurrection site. This client is in development and offers many soon to come modifications and additions to the game.
Multiple followers can be selected with click-and-drag, and a number of hot-keys makes for more fluid gameplay. The combination of cartoon-like graphics and the 3-D environment create an experience where the player feels they are playing in an interactive comic.
